MetaMask – Ethereum Browser Extension
MetaMask, an extension for the Ethereum browser that allows users to view the Ethereum blockchain directly from their browser. The extension allows the user to perform Ethereum transactions from within the web browser.
What does it mean?
MetaMask extensions add Ethereum’s web3 APIs to any Javascript context. When you open a website, the extension will allow you to access the blockchain-related information. This information includes the Ethereum addresses of every wallet and the associated balances, the Ethereum address and balance of the contract address, the number of transactions that were performed, and more.
When a user registers, a wallet is automatically created in his MetaMask Client. From there, the user can move tokens among addresses, make withdrawals and transfers, and move money between wallets.
