MetaMask – Ethereum Browser Extension
MetaMask allows users to view Ethereum’s blockchain from within their browser. This extension allows users to conduct Ethereum transactions directly from their web browser.
How does it all work?
MetaMask extensions add Ethereum’s web3 APIs to any Javascript context. When you open a website, the extension will allow you to access the blockchain-related information. The information includes the Ethereum addresses and associated balances, the Ethereum address of each wallet, the balance of the contract address, and the number of transactions performed.
Once a user has signed up, a wallet in their MetaMask client is created. The user can transfer tokens between addresses and withdraw them, as well as move funds between wallets.
