Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 (or later) is required to access certain advanced functions in Office Outlook 2007. Dynamic Calendars require server connectivity. Instant Search requires Windows Desktop Search 3.0. Some advanced collaboration capabilities require connectivity to Windows Server 2003, SP1 or earlier that runs Windows SharePoint Services 3.0.
