Microsoft Office 365 allows users to create, edit and share documents. It is considered an evolution of the original Microsoft Office main series. Office is now in the cloud. Office 365 is a paid product but you can test it for 30 days. Microsoft lets users purchase four different packages for between EUR7 and EUR10 per month (for personal use only). Office 365 allows users to use all the Office 2023 software packages online, including Outlook, an organizational software for email, calendar and address book, the word processor, the Excel spreadsheet, PowerPoint for creating presentations, as well as to all other “classic” software in the suite. Office 365 is a Web Service, so the suite’s apps will always be updated to the latest version. Microsoft Office Online should not be confused. This is Microsoft’s free online way to use Office programs.
In Office 365, OneDrive storage space is included with the other applications. OneDrive is Microsoft’s cloud service. Skype users also have access to a limited number of free minutes. Office 365 provides offline support and multiplatform support (PC Mac, iOS, Android)
Office 365 allows for you to use Office suite applications in an offline format. This is done by installing the software locally. To continue using the software however, it is necessary to access the online apps at least once every 39 days, which in any case should also be done normally to download updates. The cloud version will cease to be functional after 39 days. However, the offline version will still have all of the functions. After the time limit, you can log in online again to activate your account and access all features.

- Multi-touch functionality can only be used with a touch enabled device. All features and functionality can be accessed by using a keyboard or mouse. Windows 10 and Windows 8.1 are compatible with touch features.
- Product functionality and graphics may vary based on your system configuration. Some features may require additional or advanced hardware or server connectivity.
- For licensing and access to services, a Microsoft account and/or an organizational account are required.
- Skype requires a standard laptop camera or USB 2.0 video camera, a microphone, and an audio output device in order to utilize its full range of calling features.
